A short hike from Marshall Point Lighthouse,
 you will find the picturesque fishing village of
  Port Clyde.Seated at the very tip of St. George
   peninsula, this fascinating town offers great
    food and recreation in a real working harbor.

Port Clyde serves as the launch point for the
Monhegan Boat Line, offering trips
to Monhegan Island, puffin cruises
and nature trips. In addition,
Port Clyde Kayaks offers guided
kayak tours of the area.
Make sure you bring a camera to
capture local color and a healthy
appetite to dine on dinnah at one
of the fine local eateries. Port
Clyde is also home to Herring Gut
Learning Center
offering workshops,
summer camps and marine science.
    Try a lobster dinner, buy some seafood at Port
   Clyde Fresh Catch, try the goodies at the
  Village Ice Cream Store, browse the art galleries
 and shops and watch the busy harbor activities
 air while you watch the local fishermen bring
from the docks.
  Port Clyde will offer you a very special glimpse of
Maine as it is now and as it used to be.
